The New England Health Care Employees Union, SEIU 1199NE, held a press conference on Wednesday, June 10th to speak up on supporting state workers through the COVID-19 pandemic.
State workers have recently launched the “You Don’t Have To Call Me A Hero” campaign on television, radio and social media to raise awareness on the critical role that state health care workers have played during this pandemic and the need to invest in state agencies. We must not lose sight that we need to build a robust state workforce so we are in a better position to face our next crisis.
